Tales of consulting, owning your own business, and being your own boss
Have you ever wanted to strike out on your own? Be your own boss? Ever wondered what goes into a contract negotiation or determining your rate? Do you have to be incorporated, have an LLC, something else?
Then join us Thursday, August 27 in Oak Park to hear from three contractors who’ve done it all. They’ll share their experiences—good and bad—from the contracting world. From starting out, to securing clients, to managing the business side of things, to determining your rate, our panelists will share their strategies and warn against common pitfalls they’ve encountered in their years of experience.
Whether you’re new to the contracting world or you’ve been a contractor your whole professional life, there’s something new to learn.
