There is a great deal of buzz today about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its implications for writers and editors. AI technologies will not replace technical writing and editing jobs any time soon, but AI can help make our jobs easier.
In this session you will learn about how two different kinds of AI, machine learning and chat bots, can be used to help make tedious, labor-intensive tasks easier and more efficient for technical writers and editors.

About the Speaker
Dianne Kennedy currently serves as a senior technical strategist for Ictect Inc., focused on implementations of editorial solutions incorporating Intelligent Content (IC) and ChatGPT. She also is the chief consultant for PQX Consulting. She participated in the transformation of the first intelligent content language, Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML), and led efforts of the magazine industry to develop a metadata infrastructure that supports digital publishing.
