Technical writing is inherently collaborative, especially when it comes to our Subject Matter Experts. And, for better or worse, much of this collaboration happens using everyone’s least favorite medium: email.

This session offers practical approaches to apply minimalism to your communications, leading to clearer, less painful, more productive email exchanges. We’ll cover all-purpose tips for effective requests and reminders, plus more specialized strategies to get what you need from the Very Literal Technician, the Chronic Skimmer, or the Self-Appointed Author.
